'Could biobatteries power the world?' - summer student highly commended

At a virtual prize-giving ceremony on Monday 25th January, our former summer student Katarzyna Maksymiuk was highly commended for her project 'Could biobatteries power the world?'.

Katarzyna worked remotely with us throughout summer 2020 via the School of Engineering's internship scheme. She is now in the third year of a Chemical Engineering degree at our university.

Work on the biobatteries project continues.
